About the Author

Hello, my name is Morley Malaka. I am the author, self publisher and creator behind the Turtle Tom Adventures Series. In 2005, our country faced one of the worst natural disasters of hurricane Katrina. I was very fortunate to participate in some of the assistance efforts which were taking place within the shelters in New Orleans. It was at that time that I realized I had a gift for storytelling.

I spent the evenings telling Turtle Tom stories to the children and parents alike. The power of a true story is that it is able to captivate the imagination of the audience and give them a sense of excitement and adventure through the characters.
