Overview

Welcome to our faith-based journey of parenthood as we open our hearts and share: the miscarriage of our first child; the premature birth of our twins; our daughter's homecoming to Heaven, and our son's miraculous homecoming to our home.


Throughout our journey, we realized that Faith is not understanding the choices God makes for our children, but accepting them. We try to be thankful for each of God's blessings. Every day is a gift!

We are excited to announce that we will be donating a portion of the proceeds from this book to the Ronald McDonald House; Stormont-Vail NICU, and other charities. We feel blessed to have this opportunity to give back.

The Bible is an amazing guide to lead our daily lives by and we share some of our special verses throughout the book.

About the Author

I have been happily married to my best friend for 16 years. We are blessed to be raising two amazing boys. Jacob, our surviving twin, is 12 and Caleb is 10. We feel fortunate to raise our family in a wonderful rural community. We enjoy outdoor activities, DIY projects and volunteering in our community.

God blessed me with a calling upon my heart to write Twice the Blessing. I felt very vulnerable sharing such private and intimate details of our lives with others. I am trusting that the Lord will use these details to reach out to others. I want to be a voice for our daughter and what our family survived. I believe we went through this journey so we could inspire and give a light of hope to others. I pray we are serving a purpose far larger then we will ever know.

I hope to use what we have walked through to bring other people closer to our Lord and Savior. I pray that people will see how faith in God can overcome huge personal tragedies and you can still have a life afterwards on Earth.......an amazing life! God can restore what is broken and change it into something incredible, all you need is faith.
