About the Author

In addition to UNEXPECTED, Maralee Parker is the author of two children's books and hundreds of published devotionals. She serves on the Board of Directors for a local NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) affiliate. She's happily married to Greg for 45 years, mom to Chad and Beth, and grandma to Abby, Lexi, and Ethan. Her career in included years at David C Cook as an Editor, and at Judson University as a Marketing and Enrollment Manager. She's now happily retired, enjoying coffee every morning in her sunroom, watching the birds with Greg and their two dachshunds, and thanking God for His faithfulness.
