We met Demir in book one, he was the leader who wanted to enslave Melissa. And Aramie is he second in command. When Demir is injured trying to save Noeh, he is paralyzed and is bed bound, but he can hear, and feel. He can feel when those who tend him see his scars, he can feel when Aramie trims his beard. He can FEEL the change in him since he released Melissa. He can FEEL the change in his feelings for Aramie. But he can't to anything, while he is bed bound. Aramie goes off to find a cure and after that, all bets are off. I did not, I repeat NOT like Demir in book one. He does redeem himself though, at the end but here? I loved him. You feel for him, lying there, with only himself for company. It must be awful, to be like that. When he finally gets free, I loved that he wanted Aramie to; not challenge him, because that would mean he'd have to kill her; but to question his every move, to make him think, "well, actually, I don't want a weak and submissive female, I want someone with strength and character and I want Aramie" I liked that Ram, the leader of the Gossum, the opposition, has move lives that a bloody cat! I really did. The bigger picture again, moves at speed, but time is drawing short, and there must be a winner soon, so each god, out there on Lemuria tries to win however they can but one is a little more sneaky than the other! While I was reading this one, I thought it equal to book one, but now I'm writing the review, I find myself thinking that its slightly better, more enjoyable. So... 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5 because the blog/Goodreads/Amazon don't do halves!) **same worded review will appear elsewhere**

Untamable Lover is the second book in the Worlds of Lemuria: Earth Colony series, and focuses on Demir, who was injured saving Noeh's life at the end of book 1. He is trapped inside his own body, cognisant but unable to communicate in any way. Aramie continues to come to him, shaving his face, and reading to him. She has taken over the Pride in the interim, but is determined that he will recover, even though no one else is as confident. After she finds a passage in a book (helped by Ginnia!), she goes searching for the Blue Pool and the elusive Blue Sunstone, which she hopes will restore Demir to all his former glory. Personally, I hoped that Demir's time "in captivity" had taught him a lesson, as his arrogance was off the charts in the first book. Aramie goes against his ruling in that she allows mated females to train and fight. This is down to her history, and is a decision that she makes with trepidation, knowing how it will go down with Demir 'when' he awakens. There is a side effect to the Blue Sunstone that Ginnia "forgot" to mention, as she doesn't like that part of the story! This, in turn, allows Ram to control Demir, with devastating effect. Once again, very well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow. You get to see Demir as a more rounded, less arrogant, Pride Leader. Aramie is his perfect match, but it did make me wonder just how/why he was so obsessed with Eleanor?! Also continuing with Noeh and Melissa's story, this is a wonderful read and an excellent addition to the series. Definitely recommended by me. Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

I am really loving this magical and suspenseful series! In book 2 we discover that there is much patience and sacrifice when it comes to love. Also, that one can be blinded by obsession, but again love can erase obsession and open your eyes to what what's staring you right in the eyes. Aramie has sworn to never be like her mother, under the the thumb of a male, she'll never submit, never have a mate.. She is a very strong and capable warrior, second to the alpha of the pantheras Demir. Problem is she has been in love with her alpha since she first saw him, but she has always been very loyal and suffered in silence watching him obsess over his dead mate. Will her independence blind her to the point of never having the love of her life because of her beliefs, or will she submit to him in order to save his life and hers in the process? Demir is a very strong and willful panthera alpha, but he has secrets, scars that have made him be very dominant. When he finally awakens from the daze that has clouded his actions for so long, he might lose it all in a moment. Will he be strong enough, or too weak to take back his life and enjoy what has been right in front of him for so long? Again book 2 of this very suspenseful series is so full of intrigue and passion, can't wait to start the next one.

I have to say that this one came to the full potential of the series. It has deeper characters. The plot line grows and draws you. Demir had a choice to make. Aramie had a score to settle. The storyline here intensifies and becomes rich and alluring in both the scope of characters and the depth. Could you let go of everything in your world for that one love that would be all you need for life? Aramie had to make that decision and it was not one she took lightly. Things in this installment picks up pace and makes you believe.

It is another part of the fight for planet earth and its people but this time it tells the story of Aramie and Demir and the way fate plays a part in their lives and if they will be together or torn apart. I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 2 of Worlds of Lemuria: Earth Colony series by the author. If you have read book 1 you know the story line but this gives the reader an insight into the 2 main characters and their feelings which I liked. It will be interesting to see how the next book goes along.

Demir, Pride leader of the Pantera, was shot with a dart while in battle saving another. Now, paralyzed and in a coma-like state he is caught in his own mind, hearing everything around him, and helpless to do anything... Aramie is a warrior, and second in command in the Pantera. Watching Demir slowly wither away, she decides to search for a legendary stone that could be his cure... This book is part of a series but can be read alone. But the series is so exciting you're not going to want to miss a minute. That being said, as I started this one, I had it in my head that I wasn't going to be able to find a connection with Demir. He has this larger than life chip on his shoulder and frankly up to this point is a fantastic jerk. But as this story progressed I couldn't help but love this character by the end. There is so much that goes on in this story. Shifters, legends coming to life, romance, adventure, crushing loss, and so much more were all woven together to create a sensational story. This is one where you won't see the plot twists coming and you get caught off guard and surprised constantly, which made it such a thrilling read. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who loves a bolder romance, adventure, paranormal or just a great story! Received a copy for an honest review.
