Written in the first person, Upside Down entices the reader with elements of fantasy, distracting from the trauma and pain that can come with unexpected change. About the Author

Sabah loves observing people, exchanging stories, and the quirky things children say and do. She serves lifelong learning in the field of education. She creates visually joyful stories with thought provoking messages. Her ageless and gender-neutral characters are created for adult and child readers to see themselves in the story and make text to self connections. Her stories are written conceptually to broach serious subjects sensitively with wit. She was inspired to write her debut picture book, Upside Down at the beach with her children during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Her next book is titled, Time's Up, a picture book memoir.

Liuba is a professional watercolor illustrator focused on children's books. She lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. Originally from a small town, she grew up in the beautiful countryside and was particularly inspired by the nostalgic childhood innocence of the greatest book illustrations. Her biggest passion is traveling all around the world with a small box of watercolors. She spends this isolation time creating new art to remind people that a new time draws near and we need to ready ourselves for a battle over a new reality that we cannot even imagine.
