About the Author

Homeschooled by a brilliant mother alongside three sisters I learned more by means of verbal explanation, illustrations, and real-life examples from park excursions and weekends boating trips than I ever did in a classroom setting. Taking this upbringing and teaching style to the fleet, I have trained a couple hundred enlisted members in areas including basic physics, electronic theory, and flight fundamentals to support their education, work performance, and advancement. I also assisted many fellow flight officers in studying for "NIFE" and Primary flight instruction which led to the creation of a podcast for Naval Aviators which has reached 51,000 streams. I am by no means an expert in anything: but I have a strong background in electronics, calibration, flight instrument repair, fundamentals of flight, aircraft systems, and teaching. My hope is to make fun books for my four children that can be enjoyed by anyone who is interested in these topics.
Author of the NIFE podcast, Tony's Tiny Textbook book series, and Tony's Tiny Textbook audio podcast.
