Valeria Goncharova was born and raised in Eastern Europe surrounded by a family of artists during an unlikely time for creative expression. Under the Soviet regime during a stagnant era, her parents managed to provide a progressive cradle of arts and culture for Valeria and her brother. Her mother is a well-known Eastern European artist and is the great granddaughter of Polish Baron Faust von Leczycki of Grand Duchy of Lithuania during the 17th century. Her father's great grandfather was a distant relative to the famous Russian aristocratic beauty, Natalya Nikolaevna Goncharova, who was the wife of Aleksandr Pushkin, one of the greatest Russian poets of the 19th century.
While completing her Fine and Decorative Arts credentials, Valeria had showcased her first high-fashion designs in Belarus where she was immediately recognized as a talented designer. In her early twenties, Valeria moved to the United States to continue her fashion design career where, through unexpected experiences, she learned her purpose in life; she created her own world called Valeria ROVALUTION.
