The Director’s manual for Walk It Out: Together in the Way of Jesus contains sixty-four (64) pages of information, inspiration, and instruction for the person who will guide everyone to have a Christian educational experience that helps them to move forward in faith, freedom and life in the 21st century.
This manual includes:
- articles that will give the director a historical/cultural context
- devotions for spiritual context
- testimonies for experiential context
- step-by-step how-to-do-it logistics
- schedule suggestions and charts
- design options
- resource and supplies lists
- registration and evaluation forms
Additionally, many pages are dedicated to helping the director understand the basics of each Bible lesson, with background material, Scripture from three versions (NRSV, NIV, NKJV), “Director’s Overview” paragraphs connecting all the activities for each session, and daily worship scripts. Last but not least, for those who choose to have a final program inviting family and community, this manual contains suggestions and instructions on how and what to do.
