The highly anticipated conclusion to the "emotional, steamy, and dangerous" USA Today bestselling White Monarch series.

I've become a queen to the forsaken, a leader to thieves, and the wife of a man who instills fear in all who cross his path. He was the husband I didn't want. Now, I can't fathom life without my king.

I should've been ready for anything. Like the caterpillar that feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in the dangerous world of cartel crime. But nothing could've prepared me for Cristiano de la Rosa, his brother's poison, or the Calavera cartel.

This is still a story about a love strong enough to topple households, unite enemies, and divide brothers. Resilient enough to bring down those who would try to destroy it . . . and selfless enough to make the ultimate sacrifice.

But I was warned, and so were you. Death's day always comes. This time, it will find what was once a caterpillar is now a butterfly—and hell hath no fury like the White Monarch.

What an absolute fantastic third edition to this series. So much is going on in this story that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but always dying for more. More Natalia, Diego and Cristiano, more questions, more heat..... just more! This is another slow burn series, and another example of this authors best writing to date. Cristiano has been one red hot alpha male from the beginning. We've just been put through so much fore-play in the beginning of the series and it was all to lead up to the big bang of an explosion between these characters. Brothers vying for the same girl, mysterious and thrilling story line and dialogue, and just good writing all around. The covers have been pretty darn amazing also. Definitely one of the best series of 2019 that you won't want to miss!

“I wouldn’t be allowed in Heaven, but I swear on all that’s holy—I’d rattle the gates until they let me have you.” I CANNOT BELIEVE IT’S OVER! Once again, Jessica Hawkins held me captivated for almost an entire year with a series. Everything about this world of the cartel was intriguing, and she brought it to life so vividly. And the characters—I was hopelessly twisted up in them from the start. Cristiano—be still my heart—he is EVERYTHING! His love and protectiveness of Natalia was unwavering. Endless. With Natalia I’m happy to say, she grew on me. I absolutely LOVED her in Violent Triumphs! She stepped up, listened to her heart, and became the queen I’d hoped she would. Her attitude, sass, and strength kicked this part of their story up a notch. The full-out passion and action in this installment kept me glued to the pages. You could FEEL the emotions that come with surrendering to desire, love, and the discovery of betrayal. I’m so incredibly happy with how the White Monarch series ended, but also sad that it ended at all. It’s become one of my absolute favorites ever! And Cristiano de la Rosa now sits in a throne, like the king he is, as my TOP FAVORITE literary hero.

This ending was perfect! What a completely amazing story. Watching Natalia and Cristiano grow into their relationship was so satisfying after watching where they started from. All the loose ends get wrapped up in this story and I found myself holding my breath. I'm not sure how I pictured this to wrap up, but it was so different from any of my expectations and that's okay with me. :)

I could not wait to get my hands on the final book of this trilogy, and it did not disappoint!! I absolutely loved these books. They were so angsty and full of hard core emotion. I couldn’t read this final book fast enough!! This will forever be one of my favorite series.

All I can say is WOW! Jessica has managed to stun me with this Jaw-dropping finale book to the White Monarch series. It's a remarkable transformation of a princess to a Queen. An epitome of Beauty, Brains and balls-Natalia grows in stature and power in this book “You are the White Monarch. Don’t you see that? You’re the weapon, the survivor, the killer. You can do this.” The writing was racy & dynamic. Constantly changing Scenarios at breakneck speed, kept the bite of thrill in the air. So many twists and turns almost blindsided me with role reversals of heroes and villains. Natalia had to learn fast whose side her loyalties lay and trust placed. “I wouldn’t be allowed in Heaven, but I swear on all that’s holy—I’d rattle the gates until they let me have you.” I loved Christian De La Roca in this book. His personality swelled to fill the pages, achieving omnipotence and omnipresence. His wrath matched his passion, exacting revenge as ruthlessly as he could love wholeheartedly, he was a power to reckon with and not to be messed with. But most of all his support and encouragement for Natalia just floored me. He was grooming her, training her, nurturing her to take her rightful place by his side as Queen of Badlands “I’ve waited for you to stop acting like a princess and start thinking like a queen.” “Nothing less would do for my king.” “I wasn’t a king until you came along. Me coronaste. You crowned me.” It was heartening to see their love blossom and bloom against the backdrop of looming danger, because it is a love story after all. The buildup and the sizzle of their chemistry was electrifying and Jessica has put in just the right amount of teasing flirtations but quickly follows it up with intense, foundation breaking, love making. Holy hell the sex was off the charts hot!! "This was what I’d always needed. Not to be coddled and pacified with Diego’s flat, emotionless, stupid-as-fuck poetry. I’d take the raw and profane from Cristiano over lifeless prose any day. I’d take his fast and hard screw over Diego’s sniveling lovemaking." Side characters provide momentum, keep things moving and interest occupied Costa Cruz was on his way out of the Cartel, but the old lion still can roar. Alejandro and Pilar should get their own book, I feel. I have been engrossed, consumed and completely owned by this story ever since it started, one of my favorites by Jessica for sure. Heady tale of intoxicating love and dizzying passion, this series will stay with you for a long time. 4.5 stars for Locked and Loaded Rooster

This book is the third and final piece in Cristiano and Natalia's story. What an incredible journey this trilogy has taken readers on. This series has been an epic roller coaster ride that has tracks that not only lift you to the highest highs and drop you to the lowest lows but has twists and turns that take you into a hall of mirrors where things are not what they seem and then through the house of horrors where nail-biting tension and anxiety will become your constant companions. Natalia And Cristiano have stolen my heart and I have enjoyed every angst filled and heartachingly dramatic second in the evolution of their relationship. If you are looking for a series that will totally ensnare you in its web with a complex blend of intense emotions, stunning shockers and an all the feels inducing love story, then you need to grab book one and start reading right Now! Trust me, you will not be sorry.

This. How can move on from this? How can I possibly find words to describe this book, beyond climbing the highest mountain and yelling at the top of my lungs, "THIS BOOK IS PERFECTION!" This book. This series. This couple and these characters. They have ingrained themselves in my heart, and they're never coming out. Both Natalia and Cristiano changed over the course of this trilogy. I can't even begin to explain how much I grew to love these two. Natalia's sass. Cristiano's dirty mouth. It was better than I ever could have imagined. This story might have had a slow burn, but every minute of the torture Hawkins put me through was worth it. And just because the burn was slow, doesn't mean the book was. I felt like I needed a couple of good, sturdy safety bars to hold onto at times, to secure me through all the twists and turns as I went careening around the mountain. I loved every minute of this story, and my only wish is that there was more. I'm not ready to let Cristiano and his love go.

Omg, what a thrilling, emotional and sexy conclusion to the White Monarch series! After the alarming way Hawkins left us at the end of book two, I couldn't wait to find out where this story would go from there! Well I was not disappointed that this story picks right up where Violent Ends left off and hit the ground running. I was holding my breath throughout the opening chapters! I am so in awe of Natalia and how strong, brave, and resilient she is. I loved seeing how she morphs into a queen worthy of her king. That includes how she infuses herself with the people and the world she previously fought to escape. It has always been Cristiano who saw her for who she truly was. His dominance made her feel safe and cherished, and gave her the courage to grow in strength and love. The way their relationship evolved, and the loyalty and love they shared was epic. But that is also their weakness that could get them all killed. The many twists and turns this gripping story took were so unexpected, and had me totally captivated! The ending blindsided me and was so thrilling, raw, and breathtaking! This story is so beautifully written and so seductive, that I just wasn't ready for it to end. I really loved this whole series! Bravo!

What an epic conclusion! Wow! What an epic conclusion to the White Monarch trilogy! Everyone who has been following this trilogy just about died at the end of book 2, and everyone's minds were going crazy with thoughts on what was going to roll out in book 3. Jessica delivers to us big time! This story is gritty and raw and unforgiving sometimes, but there is also a lot of beauty and love and passion and loyalty. Cristiano and Natalia, they are a force to be reckoned with. Jessica did an amazing job of turning the tables from the reader being all about Diego the hero in book one with Cristiano being the devil, to slowly changing our minds in book 2, to totally making us fall in love with Cristiano in Violent Triumphs. The love between Cristiano and Natalia felt fast, but slow at the same time, a love that has been simmering under the surface for a long time. Natalia didn't want to acknowledge that it was there because of Diego, but once the blinders were pulled off, she realized who her feelings truly belonged to. Cristiano, man oh man! He was such an unspoken hero! Someone who had the worst of reputations even though he was anything but what people called him. Yes, he did bad things along the way, but only to those who deserved it. I could not put this book down! I was glued to the pages, wanting to read as fast as I could but also savor everything I read. I know I will still be thinking about Cristiano and Natalia long after I've read countless other books. Wow...just wow! I can't believe the journey is over!

Violent Triumphs is the most anticipated conclusion to the Monarch Series. If you're starting with this book, please stop and go to the beginning, Violent Delights. Where a soothsayer predicted that "I would die for the man I loved", and die I did! Ay, Dios Mio! Cristiano de la Rosa was dead! A gift from Belmonte-Ruiz, Mexico's human trafficking ring was sending a message and did they ever! However, they weren't counting on the caterpillar's transformation into the butterfly. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned or the White Monarch! So much betrayal, murder, and mayhem. There is a stairway to heaven or a highway to hell, and either one will take you where you need to go! Violent Triumphs was not the way I anticipated the story to end, but leave it to Jessica Hawkins to make my journey that much more intriguing. A journey, similar to one taken by Monarch butterflies, butterflies are free to fly, fly away!

This conclusion has left me speechless. It is a roller coaster of emotions and as much as I loved it, I feel like I need a visit with the counselor to recover. Well done and worth the wait.
