Virgins & Alcoholics: A Poetic Monologue With Humanity: A Collection of Poetic & Unrandom Thoughts Concerning The Orgasmic Nature of Mankind
Imagine being lost in a city where you are not able to communicate with anyone. The landscape and those inhabiting it appear to move in the same manner. Nothing is unique. Everything is identical. Your fears overpower all will to reflect the truth of your identity. What if you are beaten to an inch of your life for attempting to seek answers other than those provided. Only darkness prevails. Enlightenment is subdued. Society is not tolerant of any lifestyle that is not considered to be appropriate. Would you desire to exist under these conditions? In this system of conformity, the power brokers, are forever attempting to quell our expressions and seek to quash differences. Individuality is barred from public display. Gray, in this book, aspires to provide a prescription to combat the sickness that befalls us all. Virgins & Alcoholics, is the literary portrait that illuminates how we, the common, are the unadulterated infants encompassed by the vultures of society. It serves as a platform to reunite the exiled with their voice for liberation. Whether is be sexual freedom, then absence of religion and political alliances, recreational drug usage, social activism, or the desire to remain unhinged to any trending topic, Gray, with the power and prowess of his words, illuminate a path to freedom for new slaves within this one world republic. This world of gluttonous financiers and media whores thrived on conformity because it is a simple form of mind control. We are forced to subscribe to the notion that there's something decrepit with us if we didn't think, look like, or act the same as their clones and puppets. However, Gray, through this collection of poetry, essays, and various forms of literature, shows us all that conformity does not breathe without a consequence. What we hold as being priceless and precious is swallowed up forever the very moment we succumb to the status quo. We are unique in everyway and it is up to us to broadcast our individuality throughout the globe. Live Out Loud.

About the Author

Dorien Gray began his literary journey at the tender age of 7 when he produced a remake script for his local church play of Cain and Able. It was at this moment that he embraced his love for writing and the passion of words. As a freshman in high school, he, anonymously, wrote poetry for his friends to give to their girlfriends (at a substantial price might I add). During his matriculation at Bethune Cookman University, he entered various writing contests and always placed in the top tier. Coupled with his love for writing music lyrics, Dorien set off to perfect his craft. Behind the scenes, under the cover of darkness, he filled composition books one after another. His talents were discovered to be of use by filmmaker and videographer, Antoine Tramble, who employed Dorien as a bio writer for his Ulterior Brain Media label. It wasn't until he had a near death experience with kidney stones and possible kidney failure that he decided to go full speed with his writings.
