The Voices & Faces Project, Vol. 1 CD absolutely touches the heart and moves the soul. Not only is it chalked filled of some of the most gifted independent artists of our generation it uses the awe inspiring universal language of music in order to creatively assist in bringing about a positive and lasting change in the lives of countless of sexual assault survivors by raising awareness and funding for The Voices and Faces Project founded by the incomparable Anne Ream. My very favorite song, "White Lies," by the extraordinarily gifted Michelle Anthony tremendously resonates with the thoughts and feelings of a survivor and gives me, as a survivor myself, a feeling of great inner peace. Our A United Journey For Humanity community had the immense pleasure of featuring Michelle for her remarkable song as one of our "Creative Innovators Advocating A Global Difference." I cannot think of anyone that deserved the honor more!! I fully recommend that you buy this CD and listen to it for yourself. The artists and their music are truly SPECTACULAR!

It's not everyday that you find music, let alone musicians, that grab your attention on a deeper level. This compilation is one of the best I have heard in a long while. Not only are all the artists fantastic musicians with engaging varying styles and "up and coming" status, the feeling from the cd as a whole is inspiring. Sexual violence in today's world is not something that should be ignored, and this album is a testament to the fact that voices should be heard, and actions can be made. It is refreshing to hear an album that demands not only your ears, but also your attention and social awareness. The music on this album is not only pretty voices against twittering notes. It is not only an aesthetic, it is a wonderful display of people speaking up and inspiring others to speak up and listen too. Thanks to The Voices and Faces Project, music CAN change the world!
