About the Author

Tammie Unger is from Texas, where her parents, siblings, two sets of grandparents, niece and nephew, and cousins, are sixth generation Texans. Her writing is balanced out with work, study, and taking care of her poodle, cats and numerous small pets. Her Grandmother has some very noisy frogs on her front porch and she has reported that an occasional stray frog or two has hopped inside the house when the door was open. Tammie Unger has enjoyed writing since she learned to read and has recently discovered she enjoys her creative attempts at screenwriting as a new personal hobby, along with a newly acquired BA in English. She first started writing "Water, Water Everywhere: The Down-Pour Adventure on the Very Rainy Day" during a Texas rainstorm with an unusual amount of rain and flooding. During the time, frog was hopping happily along the edge of the pond at her parents' and enjoying the rain outside. She has several stories that she hopes will eventually see the light of day. She completed "Water, Water Everywhere: The Down-Pour Tea Party in the Carport" where Frog joins Allis and Elsa having tea during another very wet, rainy day and "Frog's Fourth of July," and other writing is being pulled out for proof-reading and polishing as the Texas fall weather approaches.
