About the Author

The music track of Coach Dennis King's life has been the staccato beat of a bouncing basketball. This former college point guard made the seamless transition to high school head coach at the age of twenty two. Producing championship teams in two different states, his varsity squads have won over 700 games. Although Coach King may have grayed and lost some first step quickness in the last forty years, the boys he coaches are immortal. They're always seventeen, lean, and hungry for the glory of Tuesday and Friday night victories.
