John's account of the Gospel of Jesus records a story of religious leaders bringing a woman caught in adultery to Jesus for judgment. Jesus bent down and wrote in the dirt. We don't know what he wrote. Some say he recorded the sins of the religious leaders before him. Some suggest he wrote down some text from the Law of Moses. I personally believe the words he wrote looked more like "God is love. God is merciful. God is good." Regardless of what he wrote in the dirt, when all was said and done, he lifted a broken woman out of the dirt and set her on her way to a new life free of condemnation and judgment. What I Learned From the Dirt is that journey of freedom. It is the fine print concerning the heart of God for you and for mankind.
