Although I've only skimmed this book, it's in my bag going back & forth to school with me, and I pull it out and read every chance I get. Chris Biffle cites a lot of research on how the brain works, and what to do with that information as educators. I've only just begun to apply some of the ideas and can already tell that they will work to develop a classroom environment in which all the students can learn. 5 simple rules, many, many activities and ideas, and with all of these, he presents the reasons they will work. Brain research is such an interesting field, and this easy-to-read book is a great hands-on resource because it not only gives you so much information on the brain, it gives you many ways to apply the information.
