About the Author

Dorothy May Voyer was raised in Cranston, Rhode Island and moved to Connecticut where she and her husband now live. She graduated from Manchester Community College and worked as a Judge's Secretary for the State of Connecticut in the Judicial Department and as a Program Assistant in the Business School at the University of Connecticut. She has two children and three grandchildren. She has been a literacy volunteer and she enjoys walking, swimming, landscape painting and writing children's picture books.

Dot developed a love of reading books at an early age and spent much time at the local library as a child. Her dream was to write children's books for he grandchildren to encourage them to reach out to shape their future. Her books have fulfilled that dream.
