About the Author

Dr. Eddie Brickerson is a modern-day renaissance man hailing from the gritty streets of Columbus, Ohio. Through hardship he found music as a form of escape, ultimately placing him before industry great David Sonenberg. Dr. Eddie, a key contributor in the R&B group Fatty Koo, enjoyed success with a realty TV show featured on BET and a debut Album released via Sony/Columbia Records. Behind the scenes, he’s collaborated with Grammy Award Winner Nipsey Hussle and NBA Hall of Famer Tony Parker.

Dr. Eddie’s zeal for the arts and education led him to create Fly Underdog and become a business Professor for Palo Alto College. He holds a bachelor’s from the University of the Incarnate Word, an MBA from the University of Memphis, and a PhD in Leadership studies from Our Lady of the Lake University.
