DJ Horne is a first-time children's book author. He has always had a love for sports. He played soccer ??, baseball ??, football ??, and basketball ??. As DJ matured he realized basketball was his true passion. Therefore, he played basketball in middle school, high school, and college.

DJ was born and raised in North Carolina. He spread his college basketball career across the following universities: Illinois State University, Arizona State University, and North Carolina State University. DJ earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Kinesiology and Special Events Management from Arizona State University.
