About the Author

Carrie Schrader was a teacher for 36 years. She and her husband, Bill, have two daughters and four grandchildren. They live in Kansas and love spending time with their family at their cabin at the lake.

Sherry Stroh grew up as a milirary child, spending many years in various places before settling in Kansas and meeting her husband, Dave. They raised their son and daughter while Sherry taught, coached and directed plays during her 30 years of teaching. Her two grandsons inspired her return to being creative when Carrie asked her to illustrate this book.
