From Ilona Andrews, #1 New York Times bestselling author, the thrilling conclusion to her Hidden Legacy series, as Nevada and Rogan grapple with a power beyond even their imagination…

Nevada Baylor can’t decide which is more frustrating—harnessing her truthseeker abilities or dealing with Connor “Mad” Rogan and their evolving relationship. Yes, the billionaire Prime is helping her navigate the complex magical world in which she’s become a crucial player—and sometimes a pawn—but she also has to deal with his ex-fiancée, whose husband has disappeared, and whose damsel-in-distress act is wearing very, very thin.

Rogan faces his own challenges, too, as Nevada’s magical rank has made her a desirable match for other Primes. Controlling his immense powers is child’s play next to controlling his conflicting emotions. And now he and Nevada are confronted by a new threat within her own family. Can they face this together? Or is their world about to go up in smoke?

About the Author

"Ilona Andrews" is the pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team. Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.) They have co-authored two New York Times and USA Today bestselling series—the urban fantasy of Kate Daniels and the romantic urban fantasy of The Edge—and are working on the next volumes for both. They live in Texas with their two children and many dogs and cats.

Once again the authorlords have done it again. I've read wildfire 3 times since it's release on tuesday. There are literally sections in the book where I laughed out loud. It's action packed and the dynamics between Nevada and her family are reminiscent of what it felt like to grow up in a house with 5 brothers and sister. Nevada and Rogan's relationship has developed nicely and it's wonderful how he let's his guard down with her. I highly recommended this series and hope that there are more to come.

We'll have to wait years for the next book, if there is one! But there must be a new one. Because I refuse to let these people, this family go. Imagine a family like the Waltons or Little House and then throw in magic, mayhem, true love and monsters! This is a wild carnival ride and I never want to get off. So please team Andrews continue this series! I may love it even more than your Kate Daniels and INNKEEPER series. Not sure yet cause there is only 3 books so far, hopefully the first 3 of many more. Readers, if you like Nalini Singh, J.R. Ward, early Laurell K. Hamilton, Anne Bishop, then give this trilogy a try, you won't regret it. ,

Set in the Houston area, this third book is my favorite of the series and full of moments that just stole my breath away. If you like your stories with a mix of paranormal, fantasy and urban fantasy – this is the series for you. And I do suggest that you read them in order: this is one of those long-progressing relationship arcs that needs the input from earlier books to not leave you wondering just why something happened. In this story, we are dealing with Rogan’s ex-fiance who comes to Nevada to beg for her help in finding her husband. Well, Nevada isn’t one to take anything lightly, and aside from her feelings that Rynda is thinking that Rogan can be a back-up plan. See, we are learning about the families with magic and the pecking order (more magical = more money and power) and there is a plan afoot to destabilize the balance of things. Nevada has to work out if Rynda’s claims are actually as they appear, or if she is working with / for the bad guys, or guy. In addition, we are meeting more of her family and getting more of her history, she and Rogan are strengthening their own connection, and there is still the questions / battle with the evil grandmother Victoria trying to sway Nevada to her side. Oh the potential for multiple stories from this one are high – and the team of Ilona Andrews does a wonderful job of giving us some answers, providing more questions and keeping readers on the edge wondering just what is next. Fight scenes in this book are amazing in the best sense: the fantasy/magical elements, the staging and the descriptions have readers glued to the page and cheering on the good guys, or those we believe are so. With plenty of moments that interrupt the smooth forward motion for each of the characters, the challenges are unique, the dialogue snappy and there is always something new around the next corner (or page). Concluding with a bang, there are questions yet unanswered, leaving the door open for more, as we have a sense that Rogan and Nevada will continue to face challenges and roadblocks, but have solidly formed as a couple, ready to withstand them all. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Entertaining, and unlike many books I have attempted to read, I wanted to see how things turned out, so I was able to finish it. Not a basic scenario that I really enjoy, but not sorry I ordered it.

While this is volume 3 of a series you can pick it up and read at this point. It is urban fantasy set in Houston, Tx. The story is well written, the characters engaging, and the action flows well. Read this book then go get the rest by this author.

Anything written by Ilona Andrews gets 5 stars. Have not yet met a series from them that I haven't loved. Not only on first reading but second and third rereadings.

I read A LOT. Just look at my book count on Goodreads. Even the people closest to me think I’m out of my ever-loving mind to consume books with the speed and voracity that I do. So, when I find something capable of punching through all the noise; that continues to live in my head even after closing the book; I have found my nirvana. This book, heck this whole series, has done that with grace and elegance. The characters are multi-dimensional, complex, and dynamic. As are their interactions and relationships. The secondary characters aren’t secondary in their development. They are just as individual and memorable as their main counterparts. There is logic and reason behind every action. A villain isn’t a villain just because he (or she) is insane; there’s a carefully calculated plan driving everything. I love that no matter how powerful an enemy is, there is a weakness that can be used to defeat them; that Nevada and Rogan aren’t all-powerful either. I appreciate that that Nevada and Rogan have their own personal rules of engagement during combat and they stick to them. I am extremely grateful that I was able to read the three books that currently make up this series back to back, and I’m now bereft that I have to wait for the next one to be released. Because there has to be a next book. There are still questions unanswered and a few dangling plot threads to be tied off.

I love it when I find a series that is outside the norm. This author never fails in that. Next I start The Edge.

I could read this book over and over. The character are lively and fun. I love how each character is trying to find their way in this world with unique abilities and they don’t mind upsetting the status quo. The underlying family relationship is endearing and the romantic dynamic is explosive.

Wildfire is once again a fast paced action packed audiobook loaded with brilliant characters, stunning imagery, and out of this world romance.  I found myself hooked from the first book and didn’t want to stop until I finished all three.    As I finish the trilogy I am left with the feeling that this can’t be it.  I want more of this world and these characters.  I want to know if Nevada will become a mother someday, will her sisters find love, what path will her cousins travel?  I must know more.  I really hope that Andrews will continue with this world, I am not ready for it to be finished.  I need more Nevada and Rogan! Of course, this is getting 5 Boundless stars from me.  I loved every minute!
