*CAUTION- Slight spoilers if you haven't read Souls.* **Arc for an honest review** One word can't describe how amazing this series is. I fell in love with Runes and immediately had to read more, and then more, more, and then wait! And boy was it worth it! Witches takes place within Souls, so you are reading in Raines view, and questions you had in Souls about Raine are answered. I think it was a great idea to start the book within Souls instead of jumping right into a new arc, we get to see Raine and the gang grow as characters as they deal with the events that happen. I love Raine's stubborn, and emotionally strong character, Ednah's done a wonderful job with her. Raine and Torin: I think I have finally found a book boyfriend! ¿ the love and understanding they have for eachother is breathtaking. There are a few bumps in the road, however Torin is there when Raine needs him most. Ingrid: I really liked her development as a character, she isn't just Mallina's sister, she turns into a great friend and ally for Raine. Erik and Cora: Big brother Erik! It was really nice to see that relationship with Raine again. for Cora, I wish there could have been more of a relationship with her and Raine, but as this takes place between Souls it's understandable. I really enjoyed the Norse mythology in this series, it will be seriously hard to top what Ednah has done! Overall, as soon as your done reading this, go get that book!!

Raine is still learning how strong she is and the Norns (good and evil)Seem scared of her now that she has a special Norn weapon.Well Raine decides to make her own rules and tells them all off.It was great! Torin is very prominent in Raines world and they both find a way to keep it that way. He is very out spoken about h is feeli gs in this book.I love how Ingrid has come out of her shell, and hope the next book Ednah Walters writes revolves around her and a certain Grimnir! There were many ups and downs in the story. Ednah knows how to tell it so you get sucked in and feel like your apart of their reality. I read as slow as i could to make it last but I couldnt help myself..Defiantly going to be another best seller. Now I need to hunt for something to read while i wait for the next installment.

***I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review."*** The events in this book are concurrent with the book, Souls, and the POV is Raine's.. If Souls is about Cora, Echo, and the Grimnirs fighting  the dark souls, Torin, Raine, and the rest of the gang are fighting mostly the Norns in Witches. The wonderful conversations between Ingrid and Raine are great. I highly recommend you read this series.  I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can continue on this journey with them. I will never get tired of saying how awesome this series is. Each book written by Ednah sets the bar higher for the next book and Witches is everything I expected and more.

***I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review."*** Wow what an exciting book. Ednah Walters really use her gift to provide a strong heroin, battle of Good vs Evil and an intricate love story. This book goes beyond your normal PA book. Witches overlaps Souls and is taken from Raine's POV. I loved how while reading I could piece together what Cora was doing while things were happening in Raine's life. Raine is on a mission as usual to defeat the Norns and follow her own destiny.  Her determination and love for her fellow Mortals and Immortals gives her the drive to fight. Not only does Raine learn more about herself and her growing powers, she decides how and when to use them. During this story we see her develop relationships with Beau a baseball player at school. He becomes her first case to shift his destiny for the better. Along with her new sidekick Onyx (who is hysterically funny) her Muse/Familiar captivates our hearts. Torin and Raine's relationship continues to grow as we see how deep their love is and how in its pure state can overcome EVERYTHING even the Norns! This book covers it all and you will find yourself yielding to every emotion but feeling warm and fuzzy at the end.

This is without a doubt the best book in the series so far. And that's saying a lot because Seeress and Souls were so amazing! Ednah and her characters dazzle with every page, you will not want to put it down! ToRaine fans get a huge treat here, plus there's lots more fun with Valkyries, Immortals, Grimnirs, and well, those meddling norns and their nonsense! Pick it up now, or add it to the top of your wishlist so you can catch up. ***arc for review, no compensation provided and all opinions my own***

I’m obsessed with this author and this series. This is the first book I’ve given 4 stars too. The reason being is that there’s something changing with Raine that I find obnoxious. She’s self centered, egotistical, and reckless. I don’t like this new look on her. I still love the rest though.

Witches..... Even the title sounds ominous. This takes place along with Souls, so it's a good thing you'll get a lot of questions answered. But one thing that made this book stand out was Raine and Torin's relationship (Toraine as I call them). Everybody knows that no relationship is ever perfect. They all have their ups and downs, and we see a little bit of that in this books. A couple of bumps here and there make everything all the more realistic, and made me love their 'perfect imperfections'. I also really need to say that I love Raine's cat. It was great to see Eirik back together with the rest of the gang. I love his protective brother relationship with Raine, it definitely adds such depth to their characters. Gosh, I really do not want to spoil anything for you, but there were some moments in this book that were just so beautiful. I actually cried. Raine's way of outwitting the meddling Norns was both clever and gorgeous, and I'm glad they might actually have a happy ending. Those creepy Norns, though - I'm glad I don't live in the same world as them. We get to see even more of the supernatural world here, and the details are amazing. Need I say anything more? Go get that book!

Witches presents more growth for Raine's abilities. This story overlaps the previous story, Souls, which was told in Cora's perspective, and the books in the Eirik series from Eirik's perspective. I can't wait to read the next books once they are released. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves mythology and fantasy.

I really enjoyed this whole series so far. (I read all the runes series including Grimners and Souls in less in a week). I have to say Witches is by far my Favorite. This book follows along with what happened in Cora's story Souls. We see Raine and Torin go through more struggles with the Norns, She also has her first case with the Baseball player/ Bad boy Beau, We also get to meet Onyx (Raine's cat). This book kept me on my heels the whole way through. I can't wait to read more of Raine's story(Cora's story also).

WOW!!!! This book really delivered on character development on some of the supporting characters that I have grown affection for, like Ingrid, and Andris. Raine continues to grow and find herself and Torin continues to become more and more irresistible!

**Received an ARC copy from the Author in exchange for an honest review** Yes. Yes. YES!!! I just LOVE this series!! I think this has to be my fave one so far in this series. Ednah Walters has blown me away yet again. With each new installment it just keeps getting better and better. It felt so good to be back in this world, I feel like starting from the beginning just so I can go through it all again. Witches will take you on a wild ride, surprises around every turn, we meet new and exciting characters, we laugh, we cry, we fall in love and we may even get a little angry at times. Definitely a story that will play with your emotions. From the first page I was absorbed, I would leave my lounge room and join the Valkyrie/Grimnir fun. I seriously love watching these characters grow. Raine has grown into a strong, confidant young woman (witch), and she seriously can whoop some butt!! I love how we follow her through her learning of magic and watch her unleash her power, and stick it up the Norns!! Torin. Torin. Torin. He seriously made me fall hard in this book, he truly brought out the feels in me...bad! *sigh* And the banter between Torin and Raine, just loved that!!! Another brilliant installment to a magnificent series. If you haven't read any of these books, I recommend starting now. The first book Runes is FREE right now.
