I’m so glad that Mikhail stayed with the pack even though it was for his sister so he says. Mikhail has been in love with Elise for a long time. But he knows he has his work cut out for him due to her past with her abusive mate. They both go through so much together that you really need to read this and find out.

Wolf of Her Own is truly wonderful! There is adventure, romance, misdeeds, mistrusts, betrayal, but in the end, everything comes to a wonderful HEA! Which is more then some of the characters in this wonderful book are expecting for themselves. Jacque and Louis are the sons of Elise. So, what will they say when they find out that their mother is the gleam in a non-pack member’s eye? Will there be blood sprayed? Will there be discord within the pack? Elise LaForge is the mother to the alpha of the Salvation Pack, she is also a widow after her son defeated his father for control of the pack. Her mating to the previous alpha wasn’t the best and when she found out that her sons and their friends were taking the pack to a different place she jumped at the chance for a change of pace. She has enjoyed being her own person living her own life in her own home going where ever and whenever she wants, but she hasn’t been able to live a full life because her former mate has been living in her mind but then she found Mikhail. Could he really be her own salvation? Mikhail Matheson is a kind of outsider in the sense that he doesn’t really have a place in the Salvation Pack, but his sister is mated to a member of the pack, so he is welcomed but not really integrated into the pack. He sees the way that the pack has helped to change his sister and for that he will always be in their debt. Then there is Elise, she is the first woman that has made him want to howl at the moon in a very long time. He knows that there are ghosts that hunts her and that he needs to take his time with her, but he also knows that she is his. Wolf of Her Own was a Five Star book! I was given this book in exchange for my honest review.

NJ Walters is one of my favorite authors and she ceases to please over and over again! Her salvation pack is one of my favorite series and can't wait for more to come!

I love this series! This book is a story of overcoming fear and abuse to find true love. Mikhail is a strong alpha male with a tender and protective side but believes that he will never find anyone to feel the void in his life. That is until he meets Elise. Elise is a woman who has suffered abuse at the hands of her former husband but has come out of that relationship stronger then she realizes. Together they find a love for the ages. If you have not read any of N.J. Walters books you don't know what you are missing. She is a masterful storyteller and I can't wait until the next installment of the Salvation Pack Series!!!

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!! ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I don’t own this book yet, but I think I’m going to collect this series too! I do have one so far! The cover looks so emotional! This is the 9th book in the Salvation Pack series, but it is only the first book in this series that I’m reading. I’m going to have to collect and read them all. This book is for adults only due to the steamy content. This book does touch of sensitive topics like abuse, rape, and what comes after. I wanted to make you aware because you know you best and how to handle books with these topics. You can read this book as a standalone, but I’m betting that it would be even better if you knew the pack and the world better by reading them all. Mikhail is sort of an outsider in the Salvation Pack. They let him stay for his sister. Elise is the alpha’s mother, and she has had a rough life. She has been peacefully existing with her son’s pack for the last 10 years until Mikhail shakes things up. This book definitely had me crying for Elise. This book is an emotionally rollercoaster filled with trouble along the way. They are both trying to navigate and come out the other side. I was pulled into the story and couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend to any shifter fan who wants a great action-packed story that makes you feel something with an HEA at the end! I can’t wait to read more by this author!!

Let me start with the author's disclosure of 'each book in the Salvation Pack series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed in any order'. Yeah, I vote no on that one. Each book builds on each other and while you MAY read them out of order, you really should start from the beginning. Especially before getting to this book, because without prior knowledge, you won't know what Elise went through. Heck, what any of the characters went through but mainly Elise. Happy endings. Don't you just love them? That's exactly what Wolf of Her Own is giving me. A nice happy ending. For the series, for the characters and especially for Elise. Her previous mate, the abuse her and others suffered through, that's all over and now it's time for Elise to be happy. And her happy is being near her family, being able to make her own decisions, and learning to not live in fear. Even though he's not a member, Mikhail stays with the Salvation pack to be close with his sister. Keep telling yourself that Mikhail, we all know the truth. You got your eye on Elise. You know the now single mother of the pack leader. Is he going to live dangerously and risk being with her or leave the pack? Decisions, decisions. Actually, there's no decision there to be made. Elise and Mikhail are perfect for each other. There's a nice build-up between them as they work on their issues. Mostly hers as she has fears and apprehensions to overcome. He's oh so sweet in his patience taking his time with her. *Sighs* That's not to say things don't get interesting between them *Wiggles eyebrows* Is there going to be more to the series, I'm not sure. There was a nice finality to Wolf of Her Own that makes me think that there won't be. All the bows feel tied, everybody is mated, and the sun is setting with on a high note. For me, I am done with the series if, for nothing else, I am enjoying the peace and emotional high this book has offered. Kudos Ms. Walters! I received this book from the JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated. Stars – 3.5, Flames - 3

Loved this book!!! I've enjoyed each novel in the Salvation Pack series and this book is a great addition to the series. This book is Elsie and Mikhail's story. Elsie is the mother of the alpha and is still emotionally scarred from her former abusive mate when Mikhail tells her he wants to court her. She doesn't know what that means or how to deal with all the feelings he brings out in her. Thus begins a difficult recovery from abuse while blended with the fresh bloom of a new love. I really enjoyed their story and how patient and gentle Mikhail was with Elsie. I love the way they interacted and learning more about Mikhail. Fans of the genre will love this book and want to put it at the top of their TBR list. The author is on my must read authors' list.

I loved this story. I loved that the characters were older proving that love isn’t just for the young but for the young at heart. Wolf of Her Own is a sweet yet sometimes heartbreaking story of a woman who had been abused physically and emotionally by her former husband. It’s been 10 years but she hasn’t really dealt with it. Now there is a man who wants her and if she is going to give him a shot at her future she will have to deal with her past. Break out the tissues and a glass of wine kick back and enjoy. Though this is part of a series it can be read standalone.

You know that story that ends and you wish you could stay with the characters just a little bit longer? I felt that I would have liked to stay with Mikhail and Elise…and the rest of the Salvation Pack…and gotten to know them all a bit better….perhaps become their friends or a member of their pack. I suppose that means I will need to see if I can find the first eight books in the series so I *can* get to know them better ;) This is a story of two older werewolves given the chance to find love and mate. Mikhail knew Elise was for him when he first saw her but with her rough past he also knew he would need to pick his time to woo her carefully. That said, when he made his move…OH MY! Mikhail is a man that one would want for their own and I loved the way he was patient, generous and caring as he courted Elise. Elise was one of the strongest heroines I have met in a book and her growth from a bit repressed to the wolf she was meant to be was a pleasure to observe. I wish the two of them long lives and all the happiness life has to offer! Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing-Amara for the ARC – This is my honest review.
