About the Author

Timothy Knight was born and raised in Alabama, spending most of his life along the Alabama Gulf Coast. He spent nearly 27 years in law enforcement (doing everything from dispatch to patrol, SWAT, detective, and eventually retiring as shift supervisor). He is an avid martial artist, firearms instructor, defensive tactics instructor, and a collector of firearms both antique and modern. He uses his law enforcement and martial arts experience to lend realism to the action scenes as well as the day-to-day grind of police work in his stories. Now retired he passes his time divided between the dojo, walking his dog, and writing. --- Okay, the dog, the dojo, playing video games, procrastinating about yard work, and making curmudgeonly posts on internet forums eats up most of his time, but he still meets his writing deadlines ... really).
