About the Author

Rami Shapiro, an award-winning author, storyteller, and essayist, is author of the best-selling The Sacred Art of Lovingkindness: Preparing to Practice and Recovery—The Sacred Art: The Twelve Steps as Spiritual Practice, among other books. A rabbi, he directs the Writer's Loft Certificate Program in Creative Writing at Middle Tennessee State University and is co-founder, along with Aaron Shapiro, of Path & Pen Spiritual Writer's Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
