About the Author

Patrick Daniel was cured of hepatitis C after having the disease for close to forty years. It is important to note that he did not know he had hepatitis C for the first thirty of those forty years. Since his cure Mr. Daniel has worked to support and educate others who are undertaking the healing journey that he traveled. His goal is to help others avoid the many mistakes, bad advice and misdirection that he faced during the ten years between his diagnosis and ultimately being cured.

The week that his treatment ended he started writing You, Too, Can Beat Hep C!, because he believes that if he could get cured with the mountain of obstacles he faced, then most likely anyone else can do it also. He provides step-by-step information to help those with hep C as well as the people they live with, approach being educated and informed to make the best decisions after diagnosis. You, Too, Can Beat Hep C! takes the seasoned hep C patient as well as the newly diagnosed through all aspects of information, preparation and the latest in treatment options. The author set out with one main goal in mind in writing this book, to provide the information he wished he had when first diagnosed.

Mr. Daniel continues to work with hep C support groups and the Sacramento S.T.O.P. Hepatitis Task Force.
