When Robert’s campaign manager, Martin Tillman, suggests that he cozy up to the incumbent governor’s daughter, Adeline Blake, in an attempt to gather campaign dirt, Robert refuses. But when Martin hires Addie to plan Robert’s mayoral farewell party, Robert can’t help but grow intrigued by the former wild socialite who now runs a successful event planning business.
