About the Author

Inspired by her journey in motherhood, BG Barnstormer began writing stories for her three young children. Through her stories, she strives to enlighten others with her experiences. The idea for Yucky Weather was developed following a conversation with a friend, who looked out a window on a cloudy day and remarked, "What a yucky day!" BG Barnstormer disagreed and thought, "What an AWESOME day! Yucky weather is my FAVORITE!" And thus, she began writing this book.Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, USA, BG Barnstormer's background is in aviation. Making anywhere she finds herself home, BG Barnstormer enjoys making new friends along the way. Heather currently resides in the rainy city of Portland, Oregon, USA, with her husband and three children. Charlotte lives in the beautiful Forest of Dean, England, and always seeks to immerse herself in nature. She also loves to write because, even on the coldest, wettest days when no one wants to venture outside into the real world, she can embark on adventures in a world of her choosing-usually those where fairies, elves and other magical creatures exist.For twelve years, Charlotte was fortunate enough to be a primary school teacher in a local forest school, and she was also the reading lead there. Her pride and joy was the school library, which her young librarians helped her to manage.
