About the Author

Phyllis Asibor is a corporate African American mother and career lady. She is a retired Olympiad Chess Player, who represented the country of Nigeria twice at two World Chess Olympiads. She has two degrees. One degree in insurance and a second degree in nursing. She is a certified registered nurse case manager. Her love for teaching and storytelling motivated her to begin writing children’s story books.
Her storybooks focus on reinforcing lessons learned in the home, and within the school curricula.
They are intertwined with early childhood life’s application of knowledge gleaned.
The food for thought section in her storybooks is a reading comprehension check.
Her children’s storybooks teach a concept or a lesson. They provide reading practice and improve reading comprehension for children ages four to nine.
