He tries to protect his Momma from the beast he thinks is attacking her, and he learns some valuable lessons along the way. A study guide written by Becca Vry is also included following the story.

Bella is a high school student who wrote this story for a class project when she was 15 years old. She's excited to share this story with a larger audience.

About the Author

Becca Vry is Founder and President of Muse Creative Consulting, based in Chicago. Two of her short stories have appeared in anthologies that became Amazon Top 25 Best Sellers, all proceeds going to various charities. She continues to work with world-renowned authors and creatives as they broaden their own horizons. Her artistic focus remains in the Adult Romance genre, where she has two novels slated for release in the near future.

She and her daughter, Bella Vry, recently collaborated on Zephyr the Corgi Broom Slayer, a children's book that Bella authored and illustrated. Becca wrote the study guide that follows the story. Bella is currently a high school student. In her free time, she enjoys composing short stories, drawing, studying architecture & urban planning, and expressing her creativity through digital design and photography. She hopes to continue these pursuits at university and beyond.
