Izra is king of a world being conquered. His only hope to escape is an educational ship called a Martin's Space Carriage. The passengers of the ship, each have their own disaster story. But none of them see the one that is to come.
Due to a mechanical defect, the Martin's Space Carriage crash lands on an alien world. Not just on an alien world, but in the wilderness, accentuated by a huge crater.
