About the Author

Felicia Rosen is a retired educator who loved teaching as much on the last day of her 38 year career as she did on her very first day. She received her bachelor's degree in both Elementary and Special Education from Boston University in 1983, as well as her master's degree in Deaf Education in 1985. Felicia taught deaf students for many years in an educational collaborative program south of Boston. When that program closed, she taught English learners for more than two decades in a local elementary school. Throughout her career, Felicia often spoke of writing a book one day and is excited to share her teaching experiences via her memoir. She lives with her husband in Massachusetts and has two adult daughters. Now that she has retired, Felicia enjoys doing cryptograms, going to the gym, playing pickle ball, and spending time with friends. She looks forward to many happy adventures in her retirement.
