Spider Robinson (1948) is an American-born Canadian Hugo Award- and Nebula Award-winning science fiction author. He began his writing career in 1972 with the story "The Guy with the Eyes," which launched his long running Callahan’s Place series. He published his first novel Telempath in 1976. It was an expansion of his Hugo Award winning novella "By Any Other Name."
