About the Author

R. Dale Brunet is an innovator, entrepreneur, and author whose career exemplifies the power of adaptability and lifelong learning. Growing up in the suburbs of New Orleans, R. Dale's early fascination with Computer Science led to a 30-year career in Information Technology, where he gained diverse experience in software engineering, virtual reality modeling, and video editing.

In 2005, following Hurricane Katrina, R. Dale relocated to Colorado Springs, where he continued his IT career developing software for the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network. The economic downturn of 2010 became a turning point, prompting R. Dale to found Use What You Got, LLC. This venture embodied his philosophy of maximizing available resources to achieve extraordinary results.

R. Dale's entrepreneurial spirit led him into the culinary world. He started "The House Chef of Colorado Springs," which evolved into "Momma Pearl's Cajun Kitchen" in 2013. For nearly eleven years, the restaurant was a beloved spot for authentic Southern Louisiana cooking in Colorado Springs, showcasing R. Dale's resilience through various challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

In recent years, R. Dale has turned his innovative mindset to the realm of Artificial Intelligence. Recognizing AI's transformative potential, he created "The Artificial Intelligence Survival Guide" series. The first edition, "For Humans," has been published, with more editions in development, aimed at demystifying AI for various business fields.

R. Dale's success is driven by key principles: resourcefulness, resilience, continuous learning, and community focus. His "Use What You Got" philosophy emphasizes finding innovative solutions with available resources. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to adapt to challenges and pivot when necessary.

As the author of "Use What You Got and Make a Lot" and the creator of "The Artificial Intelligence Survival Guide" series, R. Dale continues to inspire and empower others. His work with Use What You Got Publishing, LLC aims to share insights and encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to embrace their passions, leverage technology, and pursue their dreams.

R. Dale Brunet's journey is a testament to the impact of combining passion with innovation, continuously adapting to new technologies, and never stopping the pursuit of knowledge and growth.
