About the Author

In graduate school I learned the value of psychotherapy concerning family issues and later took Addiction Counselling. After completing my studies I began offering psychotherapy that is solution focused for those with addictions and other relationship problems. As a counsellor I have worked with numerous cultures and religions.

While working as a Registered Practical Nurse I became concerned about high cholesterol contributing to heart attacks to I began teaching vegetarian cooking classes. My students wanted to me write a cookbook, so in 2011 I wrote a cookbook entitled "Vegetarian Cooking Today co-authored with Linda Butt.

My business "Choose A Lifestyle" was started to help people lower cholesterol by eating a vegetarian diet and then developed into doing Psychotherapy. Today I use my nursing, religion, nutrition and psychotherapy to meet the physical, mental and spiritual needs of my clients.
