Adam Soul was born in 1954 in California and raised in the Southern Baptist Christian religion. His young life was filled with trips to nature, fishing the rivers in the mountains with his family and friends. Upon entering adulthood, Soul became increasingly concerned about the rapid growth of humanity, its burning of fossil fuels, the degradation of nature caused by these things, and the lack of concern from the Christian world. He then began reading books on religions and on the environment. He received about 6 years of education at a number of colleges focusing mainly on sciences and engineering. Along the way, for over 30 years, Soul also educated himself in the sciences of Global Warming. Then one day, around 1990, Adam Soul briefly met a hitchhiker who told him the answer to the riddle of 666. That answer has guided the rest of Soul's life and compelled him to eventually write 'Answer to the Riddle of 666.'
