Then, she kissed me, sparking every nerve ending in my body. I was instantly transported back to last week, the night when she’d parted her lips and I’d felt the tips of her fangs against my tongue. Her lips vibrated against mine as she moaned, and the movement shot all the way down my spine.

I was still kissing the air when Cara pulled away. Her expression remained placid and impenetrable as she backed into the crowd. I was forced to follow wordlessly after to her.
