During the time when her season is upon her she must collect the essence of man and give it to an Incubus. He in turn, must process the semen and use it to impregnate a mortal female. This time of the month is most dangerous for the Succubi, because their desire sometimes overrides their caution.
Lilin are the descendant of Lilith, first wife of Adam. Succubi and Incubi, male and female, their species cannot propagate without the assistance of mortal males and females. Succubi must collect the essence of mortal man, and Incubi must process the essence and lay with mortal women. Many of the progeny die in utero; the mortality rate is so high that the Lilin’s numbers are dwindling. Once a month the Succubi come into season, and the desire to collect the essence for the Succubi is overpowering. This period is the most dangerous for the Succubi…and the most enjoyable.
After thousands of years of experiencing it, Luna was still surprised when it hit her without warning.
