Kim Green ghostwrote "Life Is Not a Fairytale," the autobiography of American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino, which became a Lifetime Television movie. The book was listed on
both the New York Times and Wall Street Journal's
Bestseller Lists. Kim Green is a featured author in the African American serial novel, "When Butterflies Kiss" (published by Silver Lion Press) and a contributor to "Proverbs for the People" (Dafina Books). As well, Kim co-wrote the Last Poets book, "On a Mission: Selected Poems and a History of The Last
Poets" (Henry Holt). Kim's essay, "In the Absence of Blood" was
featured in the anthology, "Who's Your Mama?" (Soft Skull Press).
Kim Green's work has appeared in Essence, The Source, Mode,
American Baby, The Philadelphia Tribune, Paper, and international
publications, i-D and The Wire. Kim has interviewed countless
recording artists including legends; Patti Labelle, Al Jarreau, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Rickie Lee Jones and Tupac Shakur.
Kim's creative words studio, WORDS, LLC, is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
