Throughout his work life, Tom Mahon has balanced two careers. As a public relations consultant to some of the leading electronics and computer firms in Silicon Valley for nearly 40 years, he has contributed hundreds of articles to business and trade magazines.

He is also a published novelist, dramatist, essayist, and storyteller, and is the author of the first published novel set in Silicon Valley, and an award-winning non-fiction book about the place. In his spare time, he has also written a number of short whimsical pieces for family and friends which he is now making available as e-books, illustrated with glass works he created.

He and his wife, Mary, live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have three grown children.
