The purpose of this book is to share some tips, advice or suggestions that we as parents feel are the most important issues facing all parents nowdays. You will find many different topics: from discipline, tantrums, taking time outs, violence on TV, obedience, spanking, sharing to hugs and spending quality time with your kids. We made a point of making each section as brief and to the point as possible.
This book is a collection of experiences acquired over the years, having gone through many successes, many mistakes and how we dealt with the curve balls that life has thrown at us as parents. Every person, every child is different and what may work with one may not have the right or intended results for another, even within the same family.
It is our sincere hope that after reading these tips, suggestions or pointers you will get the necessary help in dealing with this great job we call parenting. There is no "one way" or "right way" in parenting and no one is born a natural parent. Hopefully this guide will make your life as a parent a little easier- if this is the case, we feel we will have contributed a grain of salt enriching your childrens' lives.
