President's Day holiday has all of the students at Lakeside High in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, eager to hit the slopes at silver Mountain. Lake Coeur d'Alene lake has a great covering of ice, but our four friends have decided to deceive their parents and sneak up to Smelterville, where Trevor's parent's have a cabin. Two guys and to gals, and they put their plan together at 'Floaters', the favorite hang out for the Lakeside Wolves!
There is tension between the girls as Susan want's to take Trevor, Barbara's steady away from her, but everyone is excited when they get to the cabin. There are no lights on as they hop out of Trevor's parent's Suburban, into the new fallen powder snow, but the stars and bright full moon casts shadows across the landscape. Four teenagers, alone together for three days of skiing during the day, and two knows what at night. With wild expectation and no parents, they can't wait to get inside. If they look closely they might see what really waits for them in those Silver Shadows.
