Andrew Hall was born in Kingston, Jamaica the youngest of eight children. Andrew grew up listening to the lyrical, bass thumping Reggae music of the 80's and the soulful love songs from the States.

At the age of nineteen Andrew moved to New York, Jamaica, Queens is where he first took up residence, later moving to Long Island, NY. He lived in New York for over 17 years and moved to Houston, Texas in 2007 with his wife and two sons. Andrew has been writing recreationally, for friends and loved ones for more than 15 years. This is his first published book; it was a labor of love. A collection of poems some more like letters written to special people, the most important ingredient in this soup called life.

Some of the Author's writing influences include Robert Nesta Marley, "The greatest poet and prophet that ever lived" and Maya Angelo "A Phenomenal Woman".
