Suzy is a trained mediator and social scientist who spent years working with families in crisis, before returning to elder care. As a child, Suzy tagged along with her mother (a nurse,) to care for elder family members, friends and neighbors. During college, Suzy worked with elders on weekends & vacations- sharing her then-toddler child with adopted 'grand parents,' she cared for. After grad school and a career in administration, Suzy returned to elder care, and completed 20 years of satisfying work with those in need of quality elder care in the home. Suzy still works closely with those in elder care, as her philosophy is, "there is no more nobler work than service to Humankind." She credits her mother with teaching her the organization skills to maintain her work with elders with writing.
