About the Author

Nancy Padak, Ed.D, is a professor of Education at Kent State University in Ohio. Dr. Padak serves as principal investigator and project administrator of the state literacy resource center at Kent State University. Her vast teaching experience includes middle school, high school, college reading and study skills instructor, K-12 administrator, and adult education teacher and administrator. Dr. Padak was recently given the honor of Kent State University Distinguished Professor.
