About the Author

Kate Hujducka is a painter, printmaker and botanical illustrator. She has a degree in illustration from Brighton College of Art. She has trained and worked as an art therapist, and done work in residential units. She also took a painting course at Leith School of Art. She has set up and worked in several creative businesses, taught English as a foreign language, and been a midwife. Caroline Penny BSc, SRN, MSc, PGCE is a well-known parenting specialist and systemic family therapist. She has been involved in training parents to help facilitate parenting groups and courses. She has worked in Australia, Nigeria and Sri Lanka, in the NHS, and in private practice. She is the mother of three children and the grandmother of two. Her great-grandfather was Sigmund Freud and her great-aunt was Anna Freud whose institute of psychonalaysis is a world renowned training centre for child and family therapists.. She has spent thirty years working in parenting education, social services, Parent Network, the Maudsley Hospital and the Lantern Family Centre. She has published several books and research articles. Caroline Penney BSc, SRN, MSc, PGCE is a specialist and systemic family therapist. Her great-grandfather was Sigmund Freud and her great-aunt was Anna Freud. She has spent 30 years working in parenting education, social services, and the healthcare system.
