About the Author

Chip Bishop is the great-grandnephew of Joseph Bishop. He has edited stories for radio and television, reported for newspapers, and written hundreds of articles, op-eds, and news releases. A member of the Theodore Roosevelt Association and the president and CEO of his own marketing and communications consultancy, he and his wife live in a historic sea captain’s house near the Bass River on Cape Cod.
