The Once and Future Age: A Unity Paradigm
By no means do I think that the mythos I’ve developed is the only one for you. There are many works that get you off commonly accepted paradigms and from these sources you may be able to take a little here and a little there in the search for what personally makes sense. Many of the books and films I deem valuable are cited within this text. But as to why I believe the information encased herein to be important, I must say that what I have seen for explanations of reality outside of my own belief structure still leaves many areas unexamined, so I included a number of sources; perhaps in total they will amount to something greater than their individual parts. Also, in many correct and important theories the ideas I have come in contact with do not go far enough. I see doors that I want to make ajar, windows that I seek to get unstuck; like a whale, I always want to dive deeper. And so my promise to you as the reader is that you’ll have an opportunity to see subjects that you may have thought you knew portrayed in a different light, interpretations coming from a different angle and ideas new to you.

About the Author

In all cases where I am able, I deal in terms of empirical data; if I can’t find proofs, evidences (even circumstantial) or other connections to related areas then even commonly held beliefs can be held in contempt, or out-and-out scorned. One rule that I have applied in terms of discerning what is what among people is that if I awake and find snow on the ground, while last night there was none, then I feel that it is perfectly okay to be steadfast in the opinion that it snowed last night. Another has to do with the groups and classifications that people are in: if I detect a certain (bad) modus operandi three or four times coming from a member of a class, then the next time I am in the process of dealing with any of them, if I begin to get evidences that their behavior will be the same as before I will cut them off, absolutely sure that the negative process will be the same. For example, in my trying to get important people to look at the ideas that I have it has come to my attention that successful people become that way through the system as it is. Thus there is a certain amount of indebtedness and loyalty, subliminally felt for the establishment but perhaps not consciously acknowledged, and that syndrome is often enough to stand in the way of a reasonable examination of any idea that is genuinely new but out of the loop and out of the box that he or she is used to thinking in. Most of the time the successful person will not even reply, but if they do I have gotten used to a tactic of denigration (you didn’t do your homework, it’s already been done, or something else contrived) followed by a slant that leads back to him, his stuff, and him again. Egotistical and arrogant behaviors are not foes of the successful.
