About the Author
GLORIA MESSENGER received the gift of communication in 1994 from The Angels of The Light. She received this gift during a meditation of gratitude. Chapter One
The Early Years
This dialogue of interaction begins as my Soul voice relates to the glimpse of the first itinerary entry. This is a glimpse of my predesigned Soul growth journey as given by The Angels of The Light. These Angels of The Light, who are self-described as the vibrations of the Source of ALL, begin to show my Mind glimpses of these itinerary events. Come along for this amazing adventure of Insight on the Wings of The Angels of The Light!
First Event: Itinerary glimpse given by The Angels of The Light:

My Soul begins to communicate:
Thanks for this reminder, Angels. Mmmm—good—okay ... my first two clues are in place! Begin with baby steps as instructed. Yes, I realize the need for this slow pace; hope to find comfort in such a small form. Here we go! Do I need to buckle up?
My Mind begins to recognize the Soul's presence:
Can you hear me now? My Soul speaks out as it begins this life journey in the small body of Gloria Messenger. Its ever-present position is secured as its journey of life begins to unfold. This Soul growth comes from the daily gain of understanding by my Mind as it observes life choices and their consequences. Is someone inside me talking?
My Mind hears:
My Mind now identifies this voice of knowledge as the designer of its life itinerary. As the Soul offers recognition of each event presented to the Mind; open conversation results. A third party enters these conversations in Angel voices of guidance as the itinerary events are presented and a continuous three-way dialogue of insight results. This journey is navigated with observation to the fallout or effect that personal choices have on my Soul and other Souls in my family group. So, this places me, the Mind, into self-discovery? This is all so very interesting, acknowledges the Mind. Time to wake up now! We have a lot to communicate on this adventure with the assistance of our Angels, the Soul's words are heard. There is a bigger plan selected for my life, my Mind repeats. Cool! I just love adventures!
My Soul expresses:
Oh ... whew ... blah ... burp whahhhh ... waaah ... waah ... wah!—am I hungry?—am I tired?—do I really know? Oops think I soiled myself—clean up please—whahhhh waah wah! This confinement of a baby's body and inability to communicate is becoming very trying on my nerves ... Oh! ... I have nerves? Wow, new things every day! I trust this body will grow quickly to allow my energy as a Soul to expand as I take on this life mission. Focus now, must expand this Mind's attention span. Now let's get things moving forward. What was my next pre-designed entry?
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
You have an older sister and, within the next two years, you will also share your life with two more sisters—then eight and thirteen years later - two brothers will complete your siblings.
My Soul enjoys:
Good, all seems to be going according to my plan and now the bonding begins. It is fun at this stage when there is still some Soul recognition between my siblings. Too bad this Mind must agree to forget our itinerary entries as the body grows into our youth, teen, and adult years. But there would be no need for this discovery of soul growth, if all was remembered before we began the adventure.
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
Two sisters join your family—four little girls now—your mother has her hands full—however—she will celebrate each of her four daughters with birthday parties inclusive of cakes—gifts—decorations—photos and much family fun memories.
My Soul expresses:
Playing with my sisters is interesting. To play and expand the imagination of the Minds is necessary. I am enjoying these fun days with our creative games, innocent wild adventures. This too is soul growth. Wonder when our individual Minds' will develop their voices? Looking forward to communicating with them!
My Soul expands:
The playing, getting along, leading, following, engaging, and listening are the baby steps. I am aware of the need for this practise to make choices in life, yes. Up to the age of six, my Mind will recall our mission choice and then begin to forget what the itinerary of each life adventure includes. Then the real work begins for us Souls, as we begin to prompt and lead our Minds with an inner dialogue.
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
You will begin an education process—reading—writing—arithmetic—it is called the three R's—(spell check someone) you will be tested on how well you retain these teachings— you will be taught about God—many gaps of information will compel you to ask questions for clarity— the answers will be incomplete and you will begin to rely on your inner knowing— you will be rich with choices—as you are gifted this free will of thought choice—you will enjoy the fun of siblings as you grow—however you will feel somewhat alone and often different in your approach to life—this is a result of your Soul voice offering you a glimpse of your chosen mission as it is uniquely yours—it differs from others in the approach or application used to assist self and other souls on their own unique journey.
My Soul confirms:
Oh yeah, as a Soul this journey isn't just a walk in the park—there is work to be done!
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
Your mother will display her creative abilities to make ends meet—you will observe and absorb these abilities for your future needs—she will dress her four little daughters in love-dresses that she will sew—these dresses will have red hearts floating all over a white background—these dresses will become part of your memory as they will be passed down through the girls until you all grow out of them—she will present the four daughters as if you were her quadruplets—the same dresses and hairstyle will display a sister family unit.
My Soul recalls:
Cherishing our good memories and releasing our hurtful ones. Oh, yes, I remember now how that works to give me a self-confident swagger in life. Quickly jump the puddles of emotional hurts so they do not linger and take over my Mind's thoughts. Learn the lesson and release the hurts to dissolve in the universe—off you go! Accentuate the positive—Eliminate the negative—Say no to Mr. In-Between! Those are the lyrics to an old song. Am I truly hearing these words sung in my Mind?
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
Your Mother will continue to be the biggest influence in your life—she will enroll you in tap dance—Brownies—and encourage harmonizing song performances with your three sisters at school concerts.
My Mind inquires:
Is there still time to play as we take on this adventure, Soul? I do so enjoy playing with not a care in the world.
My Soul answers:
Hello, Mind, I have been waiting to hear from you! Yes, this ability to play will serve us well into the future. Happy to see you are consciously awake now. Let us keep this communication line open, as it will also serve us well.
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
Your older sister will become influential to you as she discovers her gift of divine- (God/The ALL) musical talent—your mother purchases a second-hand upright piano—your sister sits down and begins to play without having any lessons—to the marvel of your family—remembering this gift on a subconscious level, her fingers fly over the ivory and ebony keys—you will quickly realize that you have not received this gift to play piano—as she patiently explains the keys to press for a duet.
My Mind reluctantly accepts:
Okay, I am sleepy. Alright then, as my older sister she can stay up for a while longer and play music with the adults at our family house parties. Off to bed I go. Cannot wait to recognize my God-given talents! Wonder what they will be?
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
When you reach eight years young, your family expands to receive another sibling—a little baby brother—this is a unique experience to keep your inner child alive and you play with him like a real live doll—your mother will now have four in-home babysitters.
My Soul comments:
Is it getting crowded in here or is it just the cramped space of this two-bedroom bungalow? Snug as bugs in a rug—whew! Mom—Dad—do you think it is time to move?

Your family moves to a two-story – four-bedroom home to the other side of your neighbourhood—meeting new friends is exciting to you and the adventure of discovering your little world continues.
My Mind reacts:
Oh, I was looking forward to sharing my bedroom with only one other sister? Boarders? What are they? It is a new concept to me to have strangers pay to rent a bedroom in our home. Mom says it helps make ends meet. Well, these digs are more spacious than the last ones. Oh, and there are secret hidey-holes to explore in the eves. We still have our outdoor surroundings yet to discover. With so many exciting new adventures, maybe there will be some more growth for you, Soul. What do you say?
My Soul responds:
You have barely begun with this adventure of life—there is so much more growth to experience. This is just a little glimpse of insight here from our Angel companions on this journey.
As it is to the ALL love—we do lift to your attention.
It is to this vision of observing self—within and of this ALL love— that propels your choices of best— ... The Angels of The Light.
Chapter Two
Becoming Aware of Choices
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
You are surprised to learn a new baby brother will soon join your family—you are now thirteen years young—high school with all its soul-growth potential is in your sights.
My Mind comments to itself:
This little brother is cute, but I cannot spend all my spare time babysitting. I need to venture out more. It's intriguing how some friends choose to focus their attention on other things. What could be more important than hanging out together in our gang? Is there soul growth somewhere out there that I could be missing?
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
As you share in this family life—you will grow into your teenage years and become intrigued with boys your age—your older sister will be a wealth of knowledge and influence to you—she will set up double dates with her and boys—you are not impressed with the boys she picks for you.
My Mind wonders:
Am I just the convenient cover of taking a younger sister along, so our mom thinks my older sister will less likely get into any trouble? I think I am catching on to this. However, I do like the privilege of sitting in on her secret girlfriend pow-wow gatherings. What was it that I am not to tell Mom? Oh yeah, she never took a puff, Mom! So many younger sister rules I must remember. Will I do the same to my younger sisters?
Oh, and babysitting other peoples' kids! Not too keen on this, but the money is good. It does cramp my social life though. Do really enjoy the school dances and hanging out with friends.
My Soul offers:
These years are the formative years of moving into early awareness of self, my Mind friend. These teen discovery years can offer a glimpse of the Soul, to alert and guide you here. We have many adventures ahead—of self-discovery!
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
In grade ten— you think you have met Mr. Right—you date him exclusively for two years—he is a sports jock and introduces you to basketball and a full social calendar with intimacy plus an opportunity to escape the verbal fighting at home—your parents will soon separate and end their marriage.
My Mind queries:
Was this intimacy I craved as a result of the distress of my home life? Am I, at the age of eighteen, a young adult with my full life ahead of me, able to make wise choices?
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
You begin to visualize going out on your own right after school ends—getting married and having a happy family—your doodle on your school books in your best penmanship—Mrs. ____________.
My Mind wonders:
Do I really get what I ask for? Could visualization be a powerful tool that I want to learn to access in a manifesting way? I sense big changes coming. What happens next in my itinerary?
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
You choose to marry your high school sweetheart and begin a life together—now with a new precious baby girl in tow— you move to another city that is an hour away from your hometown—many soul growth experiences wait—you focus upon using your creative talents to cook—bake—clean—sew—and put love and comfort into your home.
My Mind justifies:
Yes, this is certainly a wise choice. I have left the dysfunction of my parents' home life and am focusing on my new life with my husband and new baby. What other choices were available to me? A career? Travel? More life experiences, more wisdom? I would not choose to give up the love and joy that I now have, so the distant dreams are just that. My soul must be growing by leaps and bounds now, right Soul?
My Soul reassures:
Yes, we are growing and experiencing the present entries in our itinerary. Dreams can resurface as opportunities in the future for us, no worries.
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
You enjoy being a wife and mother—and two years later celebrate the birth of a son—this rounds off your little family nicely and you move three times as you visualize the perfect house coming to you—you settle in with your family and begin the busy activities of family life—with children growing and building social lives of their own.
My Mind questions:
A lot of fun family years, adventures, trip to Disneyland. Is it really the more I have, the more I want or am I just anxious to experience life? Are other interests always pulling at me? Am I never satisfied? This constant change is also part of growth, I am sure. Must settle now and count my blessings, need to feel connection to my path.
Entry: Itinerary glimpse from The Angels of The Light:
Your husband will appear distant from the family unit and family activities—you take a part-time job to be home for the kids—this job then turns into full time as the children grow—Mom's taxi service you are now providing as your daughter lands a summer job.
My Mind recognizes:
My family unit is changing; don't feel this change is normal though. Does moving apart possibly bring us together? I feel a magnetic draw pulling now. Is this the best direction for my path? Will this enable real growth and maturity? I am not feeling confident, have an unsettled feeling in my heart. Am I going off track here? The intuition hairs on my neck are standing up. Is this the feeling of inner knowing? Could I be resisting a predetermined plan about the probable outcome or the inevitable? What are you saying, wise Soul voice? Am I hearing your words in intuitive thoughts?
My Soul speaks:
Yes, I am sending intuitive thoughts to you, my Mind friend. It is time to stay alert to important choices of direction to our future of best. I will keep prompting you to select wisely.
