About the Author

Bill Silverman is a freelance writer of novels, articles concerning urban affairs, race relations, and politics. Formerly, he was head of William Silverman and Company, one of the nation’s largest crisis management firms with its headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. Among his clients were Carl B. Stokes, first black mayor of a major city, Don King, fight promoter on behalf of Mohammad Ali, numerous political figures, cities, and U.S. Departments of Justice and Transportation. His firm also represented many major business and health care clients such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Ohio and West Virginia. In his crisis management role, he has appeared on many national TV and radio programs including 60 Minutes.
As a journalist, Mr. Silverman has worked for the (old) Cleve-land News, United Press in Madrid, Spain, and Pacific Stars and Stripes in Tokyo, Japan while serving in the US Army.

He graduated from Centre College of Kentucky and attended the University of Madrid, Spain. Currently he lives in New Mexico with his wife Sandy.
