Hi ya'll Come spend the day with me It's going to be a great day Come join me – you'll see

My name is simply Conner Conner is my name Born and raised a Hoosier Indiana – a state of fame.

Acres and acres of farmland Alfalfa, beans and soy Rows and rows of wheat and corn It's country living for this boy!!!

I'll take you on a day's journey But we've got to hit the sack A goodnight sleep is important If we're planning to stay on track

(Rooster crows – Cock-a-doodle-doo)

(yawning tone) It's early in the morning It's time to rise and shine We've got to brush our teeth first My, don't our teeth look fine?

Mom's cooking a scrumptious breakfast Over-easy eggs and toast But before we eat our portions We pray and thank God most

Thank you God for blessings For shelter, clothes and food We pray you watch over us To have a positive attitude

Bless this day to its fullest Guide our walk we pray May we be a blessing to others Each and everyday

My father is a policeman He works at the Middle School My mom's a dental hygienist I think that's pretty cool

My brother likes to build things My sister plays with her dolly I have a golden retriever We named her Molly

When mom's not at the office I'm home schooled in our house Reading, Writing, 'Rithmetic I'm quiet as a mouse

Education is pretty difficult Though I'm learning a bunch of stuff History is somewhat easy But math is really tough

RING!!! It's recess time We'll ride my scooter and bike Then play in the dirt hill behind the house And pretend we're on a hike

I'll be Davey Crockett You'll be Daniel Boone We'll hunt at Gressley's Forest Maybe we'll catch a coon?

RING!!! Did you hear that partner?
Mom's making my favorite meal She knows I don't care for pickles And those black and green olives Yuck! They make my throat tickle

Fish sticks with tartar sauce Macaroni and cheese Mmmm ... I'll gobble up my food real fast Could I have seconds, please?

After a good time feasting We've got an hour to rest Than back for more home schooling I'm sure Mom's got a test

But I'm not really tired I'd like to go out and play Mom's really a stickler for nap time She always gets her way

(yawning from nap)

Waking up from nap time Mom doesn't give a test Instead she lets me watch TV, oh boy!
I watch Adventures in Odyssey That show is off the hook!
After watching television I have lots and lots of chores It seems the older I'm getting They keep giving me more and more

But I don't really mind it My parents trust in me I watch over my brother and sister I like that responsibility

"Come on kids," mom shouts We're going to Middlebury To pickup apples and peaches Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!

Off to Miller's Farm place To get apples, peaches and cherries Then head over to Goshen To read books at the local library
